The Internal Dimple CT Connector provides a reliable means of connecting the bottom hole assembly to the coiled tubing. The Internal Dimple Connector is a simple one piece connector which can be designed to have the same OD as the CT for running slick OD toolstrings.
The CT is dimpled onto the connector using the purpose designed dimpling tool. The dimples allow the connector to effectively transmit both torque and tensile loads. The dimple connection has comparable strength to that of the coil tubing. The design features dual o-ring seals to provide a reliable seal against the ID of the coiled tubing.
The Internal Dimple Connector can be designed and manufactured to suit any size and weight of coiled tubing and with any combination of tool OD and threaded connection.

CT Dimpling Tool
Installation of the connector is quick and simple using the specific manual dimpling tool assembly. A hex socket and wrench is used to make-up the dimpling bolts and form the CT into the dimple profiles on the connector. The dimpling jig can be split in half to allow for the make-up of double-ended spoolable connectors and also for use on larger OD connectors.
A hydraulically operated dimpling jig is also available on request.
