The External Grapple CT Connector provides a reliable means of connecting the bottom hole assembly to the coiled tubing. Applied tensile load increases the grapples 'grip' on the OD of the coiled tubing ensuring full tensile strength capability at all time.
Both the top and bottom sub are equipped with locking screws to prevent the connector rotating on the coil and also eliminates the risk of the connector backing-off downhole. The bottom sub contains dual o-ring seals to provide a reliable seal against the OD of the coiled tubing.
